Deception
This is a story of a kid, his name is ****,
who started making money like the count of Monte Christo.
He lived a lavish style of life: drinks, women, nice clothes and he liked hanging out at the discos.
Now he went from wearing rags to the best fits,
but all his new acquaintances made him lose his perspective.
Started cutting off the people he came up with,
ego's blown like his soul had been abducted.
Though his heart was once real,
now materials filled it up,
he lost all his fears,
and he just can't get enough.
Though, the times they are a-changin' fast,
here today, gone tomorrow, now his luck's passed.
Now he's sacked and going broke,
tried to hook up with his old boys but his pass had been revoked,
and the same faces that he used to diss,
now laugh as they watch him do the downstroke.
The moral of the story is that money seem to make the soul crumble,
so even if you're blessed with good luck - be true to yourself and stay humble.
